Pastor Thomas E. Stellhorn Biography

“Christ calls the Christian to take up one’s cross and follow in the path Jesus took. This means that the life of any Christian is hard work. What often sets apart the ordained minister is the calling to go into places and situations fraught with difficulty, discomfort or suffering that instinct urges us to avoid. But a theology of the cross tells us that ironically, it is in just such situations as this that we encounter God. The cross tells us that in what appears to be defeat, we find victory.”
