Youth Groups

St. Paul's has two active youth groups: SPY for Christ and Clay Frogs. Both youth groups meet on the second and fourth Sunday's of the month. They start the evening out together, eating dinner and singing songs. The groups then split up to do age-appropriate programs.

The youth groups join forces for fundraising. Over the past year, they have hosted a spaghetti dinner and offered a dated Christmas ornament.

For community outreach, they participated in the CROP Walk. The Clay Frogs made and shipped tins of cookies to our college-age students and cleaned the toys in the nursery.

The youth continue to be involved in many areas of our church life throughout the year. They proudly serve as acolytes and ushers, lectors and choir members, Sunday School assistants, and nursery volunteers.

SPY for Christ (Senior High, grades 9-12)
Roxanne Kline is working with the Senior High Group. They created the new name SPY for Christ.  SPY stands for St. Paul's Youth. An annual trip to the Youth Encounter in Virginia Beach continues to be the high point for the Senior High.

Clay Frogs (Junior High, grade 5-8)
Bobbie Jo Snyder and Ayleen Stellhorn are working with the Junior High Group. They spend their regular meeting time doing service projects and working on projects that relate to our theme for the year. The theme is God's armor, and they are working on creating a board game for the kids.
