Witness Christian Witness Committee The Christian Witness Committee shall assist the congregation, relying on the Holy Spirit, in proclaiming the Gospel by example and by programs that invite all people to repent and share the Lord's kingdom. This committee shall motivate the members of this congregation to witness to their faith at every opportunity in daily life. This involves ministry to and with inactive members, active members, and those in our community who are un-churched. To this end, this committee will devote itself to deepening this congregation's spiritual life, periodically studying the congregation in the context of its surrounding community, and working with other committees and groups of this congregation to make evangelism the effort of the entire congregation. The committee shall provide for the communication of the gospel through fellowship in other local, church-wide, and world-wide Christian ministries. It shall seek to lead members of this congregation to higher levels of proportionate giving of time, talents, and treasures for the Lord's work. Christian Family Sub-Committee The Christian Family Sub-Committee plans and promote opportunities for congregational fellowship outside of normal church programs. Stewardship Task Force The Stewardship Task Force seeks to enhance a commitment to stewardship within the congregation. This includes stewardship of time, talent and treasurers. Worship Service Videos The Christian Witness Committee has videotapes of worship services available for shut-ins. Contact any member of the committee for a copy or a visit. Prayer Requests Submit prayer requests through either our local St. Paul's Prayer Chain (use the Email the Webmaster link at left) or through the ELCA's PrayingChurch.org web site or both! St. Paul's has been assigned a companion congregation from the Konde Diocese of the Lutheran Church in Tanzania, Africa by the Lower Susquehanna Synod.
